Associate Policy Fellow, Regional Programs, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES)

Peter Trousdale is the Associate Policy Fellow for Regional Clean Economies at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), a research organization based in Washington, DC working to accelerate the global transition to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and a thriving, just, and resilient economy.

Peter helps lead C2ES's regional roundtable program, which convenes stakeholder driven dialogue to inform policy design for regions, states, and communities to capitalize on the economic potential of clean energy manufacturing and deployment. Through this work, C2ES is convening companies across the Southeast U.S. to develop a policy roadmap to support the buildout of a regional supply chain for batteries and critical materials. This past year, Peter led roundtables on the battery and EV supply chain in South Carolina and creating a circular economy for critical materials in Ohio.

Prior to joining C2ES, Peter worked for the Green Finance Center at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). His work focused on researching and advocating for the utilization of green banks in the United States and abroad.
